Jessy Tolkan, Purpose’s Head of Labs and Executive Director of the Purpose Climate Lab, took to the stage at the 2017 Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society Global Meeting in Paris on October 5th and 6th. Jessy represented the Rising Talents group along with 192 brilliant women leaders from 50 countries trailblazing a path for social-impact, women-led change.

The Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society is the world’s leading platform featuring women’s voices on major social and economic issues. Women’s Forum Meetings convene leaders and influencers, women and men, to engage in wide-ranging, incisive debate on vital issues.

The Global Meeting featured plenary and breakout sessions, as well as interactive and practical workshops. While at the Global Meeting, Jessy had the opportunity to moderate a breakout session entitled “No Weak Links: You’re only as strong as your supply chain” as well as sit on the panel of the “Rising to the Challenge: Doing well by doing good” plenary session. Jessy spoke about the importance of women’s leadership and the necessity for social impact to be at the core of our work.
