Our friends at Foodstand were recently featured on PBS’ SciTech Now, considered the network’s “nexus of new ideas” and featuring past esteemed guests such as Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson.  Foodstand’s Co-Founders, Rachna Govani and Udi Falkson, appeared during a segment called “(the) innovators.”  Rachna opened by summing up Foodstand’s approach to sparking a good food movement:

“People eat better when they are around people who eat better but that’s not possible in real life.  So the Foodstand app is the digital way of making that possible. Think of us as the good food community that lives in your pocket and we give you these people-powered nudges to eat better everyday.”

Udi went on to explain Foodstand’s unique model and innovative technology and how that differs from other other approaches being taken.
