This is the latest in a string of awards for Loans4SME, after the Joint Secretary of New and Renewable Energy Mr Tarun Kapoor announced they were also one of the four winning ideas demonstrating the most potential to drive more private investment and leverage public finance for India’s green growth targets.

Lead by Simmi Sareen, former Head of Risk at Grameen Impact, Loans4SME supports micro, small and medium businesses to raise the debt capital required to launch their initiatives. Specifically, this platform has been used to secure the debt capital required to launch ambitious Renewable Energy and Green Finance initiatives. To date, Loans4SME has facilitated $31 million USD in loans to facilitate the implementation of renewable energy in India.
About the collaboration
After meeting with Loans4SME CEO Simmi Sareen and recognizing the opportunity to further support this small firm making outsized impact, PCL campaigners worked with the Loans4SME team to determine the utility of the website, and the ambition of the brand. Jess Hines (Campaign Director), then led a process that united Purpose designers, branding experts and developers with the Loans4SME team to develop a simple and beautiful website.
The Loans4SME team is extremely proud to have been a Webby Award Nominee in the category of Financial Services/ Banking, for sites providing financial services and/or information.
