Catherine is the Co-Head of Purpose’s New York Office, having joined Purpose in 2016 to lead projects fusing culture, brand, messaging, and communication. In addition to her role as Co-Head of Office, Catherine is a founding member and Chair of Purpose’s U.S. Equity practice, which leads the company in prioritizing racial sensitivity and inclusivity in its workplace and work product. At Purpose, Catherine’s portfolio covers issue spaces including criminal justice, racial justice, public health, women’s empowerment, the arts and media, equitable access to play, housing insecurity, and more.

Catherine joined Purpose after eight years in the music industry, where her experiences included marketing projects by high-profile recording artists, representing intellectual property for songwriters and producers, and concept development for creative artist-brand partnerships. In 2012, Catherine was recruited to establish a marketing department for a young music publishing company. Stepping in as Director of Marketing & Communications, Catherine developed the company’s brand identity alongside a design team, created its communications framework and thought leadership approach, produced brand assets, and identified partnership opportunities to further establish the brand.

Catherine enjoys exchanging ideas about ways to positively impact the world, and has spoken at events hosted by Huge, Branding Magazine, and Courageous Conversation. Outside of the office, Catherine follows her curious nature to a range of creative pursuits, from paint to design to perfumery. She is a graduate of New York University.
