Aveda Fifth Avenue was welcomed to Purpose HQ on Earth Day where they hosted a fundraiser in support of Clean Ocean Action, a Non Profit organization working to clean up the waterways of New York and New Jersey’s coastlines from Montauk to Cape May. Guests were treated to a reception and participated in a silent auction to support Clean Ocean Acton’s ongoing work as a leading national and regional voice working to protect waterways using science, law, research, education, and citizen action.
Aveda representative Christina Farrar kicked the night off with welcoming remarks and introduced the evening’s guest speakers who provided compelling environmental awareness presentations. Guest speakers included Joao Talocchi, Campaign Director at Here Now; Debera Johnson, Founder and Executive Director at the Pratt Design Incubator; and Cindy Zipf, Executive Director of Clean Ocean Action.
